| These images were taken at the apparently famous BRIDGE where according to the literature 'some truly memorable photographs " can be taken at this crane roost as the sun rises. After leaving our guest house at 4.00 am we arrived at the BRIDGE in complete darkness and stood on this crowded view point for about three hours in TEMPERATURES of MINUS 28 degrees C waiting for the spectacle to unravel. Even after one hour no-one could feel any of their extremities and trying to take a photo was an unbelievably difficult task, having fingers with no feelings and with camera bodies "sticking"to your face when using the viewfinder However we all 'stuck it" out until the first feeble rays of sun came through. Unfortunately when this occurred heavy mist came down to obliterate the view! Not one crane could be seen! It was suggested that we repeat this excerise the next morning. NO TAKERS However the above pretty pictures were obtained |
